We welcome this special time of the year when dry leaves, warm tones and natural textures make our homes perfect havens in which to relax with a good coffee. Here we propose some ideas to give your houses that cozy touch of autumn.

1. WOOD AND NATURAL FABRIC
Natural wood will undoubtedly be our best ally to achieve the most autumnal look. Another essential element will be natural fabric such as linen.

2. FIREPLACES AND RUGS
Another characteristic element of homes in autumn are the fireplaces, especially if they are accompanied by upholstered armchairs with vegetal motifs and washed velvet footrests. Of course, rugs will be our great allies in the living rooms.

3. LOUNGE CHAIRS AND CAPITONÉ
Autumn invites to reading, and there is nothing better than finding a cozy corner of our house near a window and relaxing on a padded chaise longue with a good book.

4. NATURAL STONE AND MOUNTAIN
Using natural stone in a wall can be the perfect complement to a cozy mountain house and enjoy this time of year.

5. AUTHENTIC LEATHER AND CUSHIONS
Leather always brings a genuine touch to our projects. If we know how to combine our upholstery with some soft cushions with a worn look, we will have the perfect combination.

6. WOODEN BEAMS
Undoubtedly, wooden beams are elements that provide warmth and naturalness to our projects. They can be elements integrated into the structure of the house or simply decorative, but they always work.

An old trunk, old ceramic jars or wrought iron elements typical of the area are details that will give that cozy touch to the house so sought after in the autumn look.

8. COLOURS OF NATURE
The typical autumn colour palette includes greens, brown, beige and grey. Avoid bright colours and look for homogeneity between all textures and elements.

Seize the opportunity to change some pieces of place and find the perfect corner for one of your armchairs. Reddish tones are perfect, but if you also accompany them with some details of flowers or dried leaves you will have a unique atmosphere.

And finally, but not less important, the lighting. Conceive your house as if it was a theater stage, illuminate corners and details with auxiliary lamps, use dimmers for your lights and always use a warm temperature on your bulbs.
